Fall Taste Testing
The Friends’ Annual Wine and Cheese Reception is held in mid-October.
The Friends hold their annual reception in the Pennsylvania Room during the Dickens of a Christmas celebration. The reception is usually held between 11 am to 2 pm. Refreshments are served.
The Friends now have a Facebook page. If you are on Facebook, you can search for “Friends of the Green Free Library.” It should bring up the page for you. Please suggest the page to your Facebook friends and click the “like” button.
Year-Round Book Store
The library has opened a year-round bookstore that is housed in the office near the back door. The bookstore is open Monday-Thursday from 10 AM – 7 PM and Friday-Saturday from 10 AM – 4 PM. The store includes a collection of DVDs, videos, and CDs for sale, besides lots of books!
Indoor-Outdoor Book Sales
The library holds an indoor book sale during the week of Dickens of a Christmas in December, with proceeds supporting the library. The June Laurel Fest books sale is held outside. This sale is organized and ran by the Friends of the Green Free Library.
