Donating to our library

However you spend your library time, we are glad to be here for you. And, we hope you'll take just a moment of your time to help us continue to provide the facilities and resources that bring public library service to our community.

Your gift of $25 (about the cost of one hardback book) or more will help The Green Free Library put books on shelves, smiles on faces, laughter in learning, and knowledge in inquiring minds.

Memorial Books

Please contact the library at (570) 724-4876 or greenlib@epix.net for information on making a donation for a book in honor of, or in memory of, a friend or relative.

Year-round Book Store

We accept donations of items in new or gently used condition year round for the library's book store. We are looking for hard and soft cover books, audio books, audio cassettes, CD's, DVDs, and videos. We do not accept magazines, Reader's Digest condensed books, text books, and encyclopedias. Donations are accepted on Tuesdays and Saturdays from 11 AM to 1 PM. Please call the library at 570-724-4876 to arrange drop-off of large quantities of items.

The book store is open from 1-4 PM on Tuesdays and Thursdays and from 4-7 PM on Wednesdays. The hours will be changing in May.
